Within the Origin client right-click on Apex Legends and select “repair.”
If you have an FX-6XXX CPU, check the steps in this thread. Right-click on desktop shortcut icon and run “troubleshoot compatibility” before launching. Disable any overclocking that you have on your CPU and GPU, even “factory” overclocks. You can try setting everything to low, and have anything optional disabled, then if you do see increased stability, you can enable things piecemeal until you find where your issue lies. Try lowering the graphical settings within your in-game settings menu. Go to Details tab>Find Easy Anti-Cheat program and right click>Set priority to low. Open Task Manager by typing CTRL + ALT + DELETE. Set Anti-Cheat priority to low in Task Manager. (You can try setting it lower too (100, 90, 80, etc.) This step has improved stability for a lot of players, but you may need to try some different settings to get it right. Go to origin->game library->right click on Apex ->Game properties->advanced->and put in Command line arguments: +fps_max 75. It can also be found at the top of the Technical Issues page. If you have an Nvidia card you may want to use driver 417.71 or 417.35 for now. These updates can come out quite often, so it’s a good idea to double-check.
